I am a political science major with a minor in journalism and political communications. I support Obama and i caucused for him in iowa and shook his hand! I think he will be a great president..and so what if he doesnt have a ton of experience! He will hire people to be in his cabinent who does have experience to help him in the matters that he is less experienced in (that is what the cabinent is for!). Lincoln didnt have much experience either and I hear he did a pretty okay job. Obama has a better health care plan that Hillary's, one that wont ruin the quality of health care. He is not recieving any lobbyist money. And Hillary's demographic are the old white voters...Obama is gettin new voters in record numbers. Obama has my vote!

Obama has my vote too. I wouldn't mind Hilary either though. I just think we really need to get a Democrat into the White House. I like the fact that Obama doesn't have all that much experience. That means that he's had less time to be swayed by Washington and turned into a sleazy politician. He's more in touch with the people of this country.

The US is the current world super power, the new President is most likely going to have to lead America into what will most likely be an economic crises. China will become the world super power, there is no questions about it. I do not think that Obama has the leadership skills to deal with China and everything that will come with it, you deal with China the wrong way and they will fight a war with no guns, it's simple.
The war on terror will play a part yes, it will also become increasingly more expensive as time goes on, relationships will be tested, I mean Australia will be out of Iraq within months, how will McCain or Obama deal with that? We are already pissing the Japanese off because our Prime Minister speaks Mandarin, the last thing we need is the US against us.
I believe that Hilary is more so for the people than Obama, I just can't deal with his constant speech for change, change that isn't all that different. He promises a bunch of small time promises that will persuade voters to think 'hey thats a good deal;l' which is incredibly smart politics yes, but not something that will benefit the country as a whole.
I am still pissed from the Australian elections because the Liberal party lost and Australia is run by a party of lefty pricks, so maybe I should lighten up on Obama, but I plan to move to the US within 12 months and I would rather have Hilary leading it.

Dude ur moving? Thats cool! Where? Chicago is awesome! OK I am a democrat and i think that Obama doesnt have the experience that Clinton does. Clinton went to presidental meetings ect. when her husband was in office. I was all for John Edwards. i thought that he was the "common man" and a possiblie dark horse of the election. but since he dropped out i dont know who im gonna go for. I think McCain. He has alot of experience. military intelligence. and he could possibly get us out of Iraq in a year or so. I dont know... Clinton I dont think is good enough. Mccain is the best choice... and im a democrat. so I'm goin against my party tis election. we might have the first balck prez the first female prez or a older prez. idk what ill choose. may b if theres an Independant ill go to that party.. may b Robin Williams can run,... that'll b cool...

Well, we can't really rely on Americans to really step up and look at all the issues, can we. I mean we brought Bush back for another four years of crap! I don't think Kerry was the best choice, but really. I think that Hillary knows what the hell she is doing. I've heard a lot of negative about Hillary that centers around her being a woman. People honestly laugh about her being a woman and not being able to get the job done. Not to get all "girl-power", but there is no reason that she can't lead this country through one of the toughest times of it's history. She has the experience necessary and she has a plan for getting this country going the right way. I think Obama is charismatic and a good politician, but the time for beauty contests is over. It's time to really look at the issues and see who's the best. I will jump on with either Hillary or Obama, but I am hoping Hillary is going to take it.

true ture true... but in the 2004 elections who would u think would b a better prez bush or kerry? we had a good 4 yrs of Bush the second term was bad...
in the 2000 wlwctions who would u think would b better in office? Gore or Bush? I think that Americans are dumb when it comes to American politics and just how the world works... Every American should take the constitution test again... I would prooably get higher than them... im in 7th gr... i got a 97/100...
they need to re-learn Americas Gov't and grow intelligently in it.
