So.. what does everyone think about Bella's vampire power? aka the magical mystical blanket of love.

It made sense, but at the same time, how easily she was able to save everyone was kinda lame. I wanted all those other vampires to actually use their powers in the battle. Bella saving everyone wasn't really what I expected, probably cause I'm used to clumsy Bella.

okay....
so i kinda think that bella matured soo qwickly is because her 'young love,' as i like to call it, has left. with jacob gone, shes more focused on being prepared for being a vampire and being able to control her crave for blood. she also is more focused on edward now and hes like a bajillion years old, so theres that maturity difference. [yet how mature are guys anyway?lol jk]
when renesmee was conceived i think that bella got all mothery really qwickly because of the foreshadowing dreams. in those dreams she wanted to protect that child from anything. also when she said she didnt want children it was because she had bad parent issues [my guess]. after she had sex with edward, the deal was for him to change her. so she knew that she would never have any relationship issues because they will be together forever. thats destiny. she knew if she got pregnant [in her subconscious at least] she knew she would never hurt renessmee because she wont ever 'break up' with edward.
does that make sense?

yes it does.. ok so i went back and read BD and i was trying to relate to bella and the more i read it the more i see the old bella we kno and love .. the only thing is htat she stopped trying to protect charlie and renee and jacob.. now the thing she wants to protect is Magoogoo(i still cant choke out that atrocious name) so i still see the bella we all kno and love.. and yes she is different but shes still there... so dont hate on bella too much... shes still bella

I think the main thing is that she's just unrelateable now. SM did say that she knew that was coming, but I don't feel the story held up as well without Bella taking the up front main role. She kind of stepped back a little, and focused on her new vampire abilities, and her freaky toddler/baby, lol.

but the next time you read it .. just try to look for bella qualities.. i kno its hard when ur saying in ur head "i hate the stupid freaky baby's name" but just try... i see her more and more everytime i read it.

Exactly. For me, it was like a high going to Jacob' POV because I was already thinking it was strange before that, so Jacob was a nice break. Then after that.. I felt like it was just downhil.
