| I'm 3/4 of the way through it. Almost done! I understand it ok. You just have to get the hang of it, because at first I didn't really get it, but now it's fine. However, I understand nothing Joseph says! I hate when he talks! _________________

| yeah, they can be confusing at first, but honestly, pride and prejudice is my all time favorite book, no joke, in my book it beats twilight (only by a little), i guess i am just a hopeless romantic... i do agree that it is a very funny book and i encourage all of you who are struggling with it to give it some time, it takes a while to adjust to the cadence of the language, if you still don't understand, try reading it again, you will get so much more out of it.
i also suggest mansfield park (bella reads it in twilight but has to put it down b/c the male lead is named Edmund and that is too close to Edward) as well as Northanger abbey, i have yet to read wuthering heights but it is next on my list after my school books (Moby Dick and Billy Budd... ugh!) _________________
