No, its not. Its just a post where someone wanted to express their views on how they dislike Jake, and it is open for interpretation. If I posted about how much I hated Edward I'm sure it wouldnt all be about how much everyone hates him. It would take many different turns.

dude jacob totally gets on my nerves!! like i see what he is trying to do but OMG!! he needs to just back off cuz she wasnt meant for him and she can live witout him! and if he loved bella as much as he says he does then he would leave her alone cuz he sees how much it tears her apart to hurt him, but he still goes at it!

I will now state my reasons why despite being a really hot, really tall, perky kid, I still can't bring myself to like Jacob Black. Eclipse Jacob that is. I could tolerate him in New Moon.

The hatred really overwhelmed me when it got to the kissing scene in Eclipse. The first one, where he forces himself on Bella. I was not, in anyway, ok with this. No matter how much he loves her, or if she lead him on and he knows she loves him, it does not give him the right to go against her wishes and violate her like that. I think the part that makes me the most upsest is the language that Bella uses

"His lips crushed mine, stopping my protest. He kissed me angrily, roughly, his other hand gripping tight around my neck, making escape impossible.
Acting on instinct, I let my hands drop to my side, and shut down. I opened my eyes and didn't fight, didn't feel . . . just waited for him to stop." (331)

She was obviously protesting very strongly and Jake didn't stop. Um, if I were to just read this, out of context, I would totally take this as assualt. Bella even calls it that later in the book:

“Does that mean that he’s a better kisser that I am?” Jacob asked, suddenly glum.
“I really couldn’t say, Jake. Edward is the only person I’ve ever kissed.”
“Besides me.”
“But I don’t count that as a kiss, Jacob. I think of it more as an assault.”
“Ouch! That’s cold.”
I shrugged. I wasn’t going to take it back.
“I did apologize about that,” he reminded me.
“And I forgave you . . . mostly. It doesn’t change the way I remember it.”

Ok, and then, like Bella I forgave him for that. But then a couple hundred pages later, he does the exact same thing, but in an even more horrible way! He didn't really care about hurting Bella at that point. It was all about proving her wrong and holding that fact over Edward's head. He was dissappointed Edward didn't get mad at Bella or breakup with her, even though he'd seen what happened to her the first time Edward left. He didn't give a sh*t that his "suicide" threats were forcing Bella to do something that was obviously extremely distressing to her. All this stuff is like, seriously emotionally damaging, to get tugged around, have people force themselves on you and screw with your emotions. He just wanted to win. Gah! And the fact that he's proud of himself for his immature actions makes me want to smack him so hard!

"I held very still -- my eyes closed, my fingers curled into fists at my sides -- as his hands caught my face and his lips found mine with and eagerness that was not far from violence." (Pg. 526)
WTF?!
Not OK Jacob Black!

And the fact that some people say he's too young to know any better is just silly. He's 16, and most boys over the age of 12 know its not okay to do something with a girl if she says no. His age is not an excuse.

And that is why, although I don't want him to die or anything, I do not like Jacob Black.

You do make very good points. Although it's really easy to hate Jacob Black, I'm still Team Switzerland. I still like Jacob becuause I pity him. We know that he didn't imprint on Bella but he still loved her. And now, he will never be able to be with her and is possibly going to be turned into something that, by instict, he is supposed to hate. Plus, he's a good kid deep down. He was just trying to anything he could to prove to Bella that she loved him too. Even if it meant kissing her with force.

Dude. I totally disagree with the whole Switzerland idea. I mean, it's a nice thought, but I mean.. just because I pity Jacob doesn't mean he should ever be liked. The insidant, that Ann so beautifully put into her wonderfully backed up essay, would be something someone would call sexual assault. Not okay by any means, and his "motives" behind the action just makes me sick to my stomach. He's a disgusting, immature pig. The whole thing is just.. gross. It's not okay and until you can tell me honestly and truly that if that happened to you, you would be totally okay with it and be all over that shit. I dunno. This all sounds really bitchy, I apologize. I just know that if it happened to me, I wouldn't be a very happy camper. I'd end up with a broken hand like Bella. I would have punched him square in the jaw, too.

about the sexual assault thing jake said it himself he didnt have any experiance with that kind of thing. And he was right about Bella being in lovewith him. He pays so much attention to her he knows some parts of her better than she does.I undersatnd he did some things wrong but he was still young and very immature people make mistakes.He loved her selfishly, wanting her all to himself but thats what makes him soo easy to relate to because if i knew i loved someone I'd want them all to myself.Of course Id go about itt in adifferent way but whatever.Thats why i think its so much more easier to relate to jake than to edward because jake shows when he's hurt and when he's in pain he's just so much more human.

I guess I can relate with Edward and Bella much more. I've been in love with someone whose personality and "flaws" in an essense were so identical to Edward it's frightening. I can't relate with Jacob in any sense. It's just not who I am and it's not what I'm about. If I love someone, I want the best for them and I want them to be happy and if that means without me.. so be it. I can't see why people insist that he didn't know what he was doing and he didn't have experience with it, but then people contradict it saying that he paid so much attention to the fact that Bella was in love with him. How can those two go together? In my mind, they really don't. He knew exactly what he was doing, and I can't believe anything else. Though, that's my two cents and they're only an opinion. *shrugs*
