Jacob=Grrrrrrr.....

I'm sorry to say, but I really do not like Jacob in this book. Especially because he kisses Bella. Evil or Very Mad

I think he's really obnoxious. I liked him before the werewolf thing, but not now. now he's evil. I think Bella made the right choice picking Edward, because if Bella was really the right one for him, then he would've imprinted on her, which he didn't. so yeah. I think Jacob will die, because someone important has to die, and it's not going to be Bella or Edward because that's the reason most people read the books, so my opinion is that it would be kinda dumb for one of them to die. anyway.. this is my post... plz reply to it... TTYL!!

OMG I despise Jacob!!!! I totally agree! He is a young(lol hes actually older than me) obnoxiuos brat who can't leave Bella alone!

I don't really mind him so much, I mean yeah I don't think he's right for Bella (at least not in my eyes) but I don't hate him either. But to a point I do feel sorry for him, and if he wasn't messing with my favorite fictional character ever I would probably like him a lot more.

Everyone just needs to remember that he is young, and he's only doing what his instincts tell him to do. Yeah sometimes it can be quiet aggravating, but still he's only 16. He hasn't had the 100 plus years that Edward has had to watch and see what to do and what not to do when it comes to relationships.

Even though I sometimes find the mistakes he makes aggravating I also welcome them with open arms, if it wasn't for his mistakes you wouldn't realize how great Edward is. If you didn't have him there causing the problems he does the story would also be pretty boring, and repetitive.

That's just my personal out look on it - please don't shoot me lol!

I actually think that Jacob is far better for Bella than what Edward is, I mean look at the facts. Jacob doesn't have to turn Bella into a werewolf does he? To be with Edward truly she has to become a Vampire, thats giving up a lot in her life. Now YES I realise that there is a chance that Jacob will imprint on someone else, but he is so certain that he won't I tend to believe him. Yeah he is only 16, he is just doing what feels right to him, and as pointed out, he doesn't have 100 years exprience so it is a bit tougher for him.
Either way I like Jacob, he is just doing what he feels is right and thats cool by me

Yeah, I can see your point, but Bella knows who she can't live with. When she met Jacob she was like, Yeah, you're cool, and then kinda forgot about him. However, when she met Edward she was unsettled when he wasn't there, even when it seemed he hated her on the first day. There was an immediate attration. Also, some people talk about how Edward is only attracted to Bella because of her smell, but I am set out to prove those people wrong. If you have read the first chapter of Midnight Sun(Edward's side of Twilight) and it says that Edward was watching Bella and that he had a strange sense to protect her, and this was before he had ever smelled her. Sooooo.. yeah... that's my opinion... I guess I will cut Jacob some slack just cause he's young and he really doesn't know any better, but I still hate him.

I'm half and half. Jacob and Edward both have good and bad things about them. But if it's just vamps or werewolves then vamps pwn wolves anyday.
I actually thought it was kind of funny in a twisted way when he kissed Bella. I dunno why.

I hated Jacob with a passion in Eclipse. I was crying tears of rage when he kissed her, and even worse when she kissed him back. I was so heartbroken for Edward. But then it got complicated when I read Stephenie's site and she talked about how Jacob doesn't have a flaw, how he's just trying to save Bella. And that kinda broke my heart too. He's young and he's in love and that makes him stupid. Really really stupid. But his heart is in the right place even though some of his tactics are a little sketchy (taunting a vampire, forcing yourself on a girl, threatening to commit suicide<--that was low).
So in the end, although I want nothing more for Bella and Edward to be together, my hatred for Jacob has died down a bit, once I really considered his position.

Honestly, these books get really complicated.

Well i don't like Jacob because he's annoying but Edward is also annoying in this book too but Edward forgives a little better then Jacob. still I wanted to slap both of them as hard as possible for it to hurt (which would be very difficult).

I know Edward had some flaws, and people argue that he left her and blah blah blah, but he only did that to protect her. Pretty much all of his flaws are just because he wants to protect her. Like, for instance, when he has her stay over at their house so she can't go to La Push, this was only to protect her from the werewolves, because as we have seen with Sam they can explode at any moment. I know Jacob is young and stupid, but he still should'ld be kissing Bella. That made me mad. Mad

He should know his boundries and know that they were never meant to be together, because if they were he would have imprinted on her. which he didn't. I just wish they would never have fallen in love with eachother, and that it was just Bella and Edward. My other reason for not liking Jacob is that he is ruining my happy ending with Bella and Edward. It's like with Sam and Emily and Leah. Sam loved Leah like Bella loves Jacob, but Emily was Sam's soulmate, just like Edward is Bella's. ANyway, sorry this is soooo long. ANd you got to give Edward some credit. His Fiance is kissing someone else and he doesn't break up with her. I know this is waaaaay different because he has so much more patience and all that, but it's still pretty cool of him. And he does let Bella go see Jacob, so it's not like he's always having such a tight reign on her. I all around think Edward is better for Bella, and that's my opinion. I'm sorry if you don't like it.

I understand where you're coming from Ms._Edward_Cullen. Edward oviously loves Bella and just wants to protect her. It is sad that their relationship was kind of scarred by Jacob but I like Stephenie's explanation of how having Jacob as another option actually makes her bond with Edward stronger when she lets Jacob go.

Here's Stephenie's words about the Jacob love triangle:
Does this love devaluate her love for Edward? Not for me. For me, it makes that perfect true love stronger. Bella has another option. She has a really good one. An option that’s easier in many ways, that takes nothing—like her family, present or future—away from her. She would have love, and friendship, and family—an enviable human future. But she chooses Edward over all of this. This makes it real for me.

So even though I despise Jacob getting in the way, he's helped make Edward and Bella stronger.

Yes yes I do see your point. Based on what stephienie said, I think Bella is going to stay with Edward in Breaking Dawn. It would break my feart if she ended up with Jacob. Who would you rather see her with? Btw.. where did you find what STephenie said? Very Happy
