| I'm not really sure why, but the other day I was thinking about all the classes Edward took, and I remembered that Bella said she had to take P.E. all four years. I seriously burst out laughing and my parents looked at me like I was crazy. I can just see Edward now in a gym uniform playing badmitton and volleyball. It still makes me smile whenever I think of it.  |

| I wonder how he'd deal with P.E, given the super speed and strength? Maybe Carlisle gives him a doctors note so he can get out of it.

| | I remember reading something about when the vampires played baseball and someone asked the question about the Cullens in PE. As much as it talks about Edward having to slow his pace to match with Bella's its just silly to think about him slowing his pace down for PE. They'd also have to concentrate on slowing their reaction time down, it would be a lot more like acting and working than it would be any fun for the Cullens. Thats why they play baseball, I guess. |

| wow... i never thought of that at all.
I guess he would have to do PE as well. but it would be really hard for him to focus on slowing his reflexes down. umm.
but if Carlisle gave him a not everyday then people would start getting suspicious. I think he had to actually dress out and stuff although it would have been weird. |

| In relation to the doctors note thing, I was thinking more along the lines of curvature of the spine or a heart defect. It would look kind of strange if Edward had an ingrown toenail for four years.

| | Oh my god! I was rereading Twilight last night and wondered the same thing! They're so persuasive, maybe they can talk they're way out of taking PE by substitutuing an AP class or something. Could you imagine playing any sort of sport against Emmett?! That would be scary! Or if I were Jasper, I'd screw with people and make them feel really hyper-active so everyone was running around all the time. Or make them sleepy so they don't react well. I think I would def abuse that power if I had it. |

that's really gross. I think maybe they could get around it somehow. I know that in my school you don't have to take pe. if you take it online. What if the cullens did something like that? they could use the extra class period to take another AP class and no one would have to know about their little "defect" or... vampire-ism |
