Seth posted on Stephenie's website that there's going to be a companion/behind-the-scenes book for the movie and a twilight encyclopedia. Personally I'm excted for both. There's going to be insiders and nice pictures and extra information. But I'm thinking that Little Brown is milking Twilight for all it's worth, and I hate to think like that. I'm trying not to diss Twilight, but I do think it's a little over the top.
Or maybe I'm just in my Harry Potter mind right now.

All books that come out with a movie have the one with the pictures in the middle. The encyclopedia though, may be a bit over the top for the first movie. _________________

The encyclopedia is for the books not the movie and I do not think its over the top that is what J K Rowling is doing for HP _________________

I totally see where you're coming form t2zumi. I think the picture/poster book is alright, but they are milking it with the encyclopedia so soon. I think it would be better if they released it after the Eclipse movie comes out (presuming there will be). Like in episode 30, they were saying that they bet a whole mess of Twilight merchandise is going to show up at Hot Topic, and it's unfortunately incredibly inevitable. I mean. Bleh, I can't find the right words.

The scary thing is, that could actually happen. There's already an LOTR musical and (apparently) a proposed HP musical. I imagine Twilight!: The Musical would be a kind of "ohmigod it's like a train-wreck! I can't look away!"/ Springtime For Hitler type thing. And John Barrowman would play Carlisle. Obviously.

Aaaaahh! I can even imagine it. If they had a scene where Edward was walking into the sunlight, I can imagine these huge awful special effects and RPattz with crouched shoulders looking around like a squirrel trying to hide, and people everywhere screaming and pointing and dancing. OKay.. I'm going to stop.
I completely agree with John Barrowman as Carlisle. and if only Matthew Morrison was a few years younger and did something with the hair.. I think he'd be a good Broadway Edward.

Edward should have a cape that he uses to shield himself from sunlight like the dude from phantom of the opera, the storyline should be about Vampires and Werewolves not being allowed to dance on the same local access tv show and Zac Efron just randomly shows up at the end and professes his undying love for Jasper. Then they all do the time warp.
This sounds like it would either be the best musical or the worst musical ever. I kind of want to see it happen now! _________________

If it was more of a Sweeney Todd remake.. and they made it for New Moon then Edward definitely needs to wander in and out of no where singing that, "Johhaaaannna..." part, over and over. I am also totally for Zafron, Laura!
