Favorite.

I think this is my favorite book in the series. I always go back and forth between this and Eclipse, but I usually decide on this one, :]

So, my question is, what parts of the story line do you love, and what parts do you hate?

I love when Edward and Bella are in the forest and he leaves, then after that to the months pages. There's so much emotion it really gets me :]

I don't like when she hangs with Jessica. Blech. Mad

And of course I love any scene with Jacob ! :]

The part that always gives me the most joy is when Bella comes home to find Alice. I was soososoosooososoo relieved. My least favorite parts are with Jacob, but not because I don't like Jacob, because I do. I just love Edward and couldn't stand that he was gone so dang long. I love the guy, but he obviously didn't understand what he was to doing and I hated being mad at him! hehe

I don't really have a favorite part but one I like is the first time Bella was in Jacob's garage and Quil and Embry came over. They were making all these comments about him and Bella and it was seriously funny! Especially when Jacob said that they couldn't set a foot on his land when Bella was there!

New Moon is my favorite too! For a while it was between Twilight and New Moon.

I wouldn't say New Moon is my favorite but I do like the fact that we got to see Bella with Jacob. It was a nice change I thought. I agree about the pages that just had the months passing on them..honestly made me cry.

I love all the emotional insights in this book. How her pain is described is really powerful. And I think the whole running across the courtyard in Volterra is my favorite. I was so nervous the first time I read it that I was gripping my pages so hard that I crinkled them. I knew she was gonna make it but it was still exciting! I'm glad someone else appreciates this book as much as I do! I think it gets overlooked alot!

Yeah I agree. I relate it a lot to Order of the Phoenix for Harry Potter. Its kinda stuck in the middle and its a lot darker and a lot of the happiness is gone but its my favorite. The writing is just deeper and more emotionally charged.

i love new moon too!'
its my favorite out of the three.
but its funny because i'm a total edward fangirl.

i loved it when Bella woke up from coming back to forks from volturi, and edward had to convince her that she wasn't dreaming. it was sweet and fun to read.
i actually had to re-read new moon in order to appriciate it.
the first time i read it, it made me angry...lol but just a bit.

I'm an Edward girl too, and I agree that it takes a few reads to fully appreciate the book. The first time I read it I was just so distraught and wanted nothing more than for Edward to come back, but thats why I love it. It just grabbed me emotionally. I have never cried so many times in one book. The part when Jacob is about to kiss Bella in the truck and Edward's voice tells her to be happy, I seriously put the book down and bawled. All the pain in New Moon makes me appreciate the other books more and adds so much more depth to the characters. I love all the complications!

I love all the convincing thats needed at the end of the book. Bella to Edward that he's still "alive," Edward to Bella she's not dreaming, etc.

I'm complicated when it comes to the twilight men.

I think Edward and Bella belong together.
But I am a total Jacob Fangirl. :]]
And Emmett's not so bad himself ;]

I'm definitely into Emmett as well. Oh! I forgot to mention the Volterra courtyard scene too..that really had me on edge. I mean you know she'll make it to him in time but at the same time your thinking "OMG! What if she doesn't?" Crazy.

i keep trying to decide if new moon is my favorite or my least favorite. i can just relate to it so much when edward leaves. that's why i can't decide. knowing that i'm not just crazy like my friends keep telling me, or how it brings back bad memories.
