| | Well even if they're in a million tiny pieces or having the weight of everything on them, they still wouldn't die. Also, since we don't know where black holes go to, or don't go to, we have to assume they don't die. There's only one way vampires die. Unless for some reason when they get into the million teensy pieces the black hole suddenly creates a fire and burns them.. Which would be incredibly odd.. |

| | What if vampire NEVER die? Like when the little pieces of them get burned and all that's left is ashes and you scatter them The spirit is still left in each of them, searching for all the other pieces and can't be whole again till it finds them but it will never be whole again because the ashes can't join together. For whoover wants to kill them they would be "dead" but still not "dead" |

| | I know that! I'm just saying that for the rest of eternity you never get to sleep. I really would hate that especially since I love sleeping so much. i can't even imagine how it might be. |

| | Didn't Edward kinda mention that? Like they don't even know if thats the end for sure? It just means the pieces can't reassemble but theres a chance your soul is just..stuck. This is weirding me out. |

| yeah... it kinda reminds me of the Quilieute (spelling?) story about the chief when he was out of his body b/c his enemy took over him.. and he was left to wander forever...
good thing the story came to a happy conclusion... but to be left wandering for the rest of eternity... |

| | yeah... talk about depressing. I don't think I would ever want to go through that. i guess i know understand Edward a little bit better. I'm sure he thought of all of this and doesn't want her to go through the same thing. |

| I did a research paper on black holes. They're actually pretty interesting. If a vampire (or anything for that matter) were to go into a black hole, they would be crushed into infinite density...so they would pretty much just disappear. On the Lexicon, Stephenie said they were made out of some material about as strong as marble, and even marble would get crushed because the gravitational pulls are so strong.
Well, that's it for my nerdy rant. |

| | ... It says in the book that the vampire pieces try to reassemble each other when they touched. Can they like, get theirselves back together, or are they just animated but not able to reassemble? |
