I forced my mom to read it too! And now she took my paperback copy and took it to school with her (she's teaches kindergatren) and now she's forcing it on all the other teachers! Haha! I love it!

I found it because two of my friends were hitting each other with a book, and fighting over said book. It was actually really funny, but they were hitting each other pretty hard... When I told them to calm down Its just a book, I got a really evil look. The book was Eclipse. I feel so ashamed now to have said that. Because I probably would have dove in the middle of it tring to get that book if I'd read them when they had...

I found out about Twilight awhile back from Harry Potter friends but I didn't start reading it untill one of them started the TwoTwilighter youtube page.

I was a borders cause i needed another book and like every time i had gone there i had seen i but i was always like vampires blahhhhh, but i couldn't really find anything else so i was basically like "well this sill do". and then i fell in love.

I was sitting in the hospital bored out of my mind and asked my mum to go to the bookstore and get 3 or 4 books. She came back with Pride and Prejudice, Twilight, some book that I know I fell asleep in the middle of reading it, and Princess Bride. I got through Princess Bride first in 2 days and started Twilight right after. Pretty much I started at 9pm Tuesday, and finished 11am Wednesday with leaving 7 hours of sleep. That morning when my mum came over to check on me I told her I seriously needed New Moon by the end of the day.

Later that summer I was one of the fanatics waiting at Barnes and Nobles in the early morning to get a copy of Eclipse. I have to thank the lack of internet service in the hospital for my obsession.

i found out about it from my friend Sarah, she said it was her favorite book and i HAD to read it, and i'd seen it before, so i finally got it and read it, and was HOOKED!!!
ever since then i've gotten at least 20 people to read the series, and one of my friends, [who finally read it after 2 years of me trying to get her to], kept saying "Sam, you're creating a cult." until her sister said, "it's not a cult, it's a coven." Very Happy

i was in the library trying to find a book i haven't read already. (our library kinda smallish.) and i found this book with a hand holding an apple on the cover and i was like, 'hmm, that looks interesting.' and then i realized that i';ve been meaning to read it for a while, but i never remembered what it was called. and then when i found out it was a series of three (soon to be four!) books, i was soooo ecstatic. then when i was starting new moon, i found out that the girl who sits in front of me in science was also reading new moon and was only like a chapter ahead of me, i got so excited that i wasn't the only one reading it!

so yeah, that's my story.

My Twilight gift was actually completly unexpected...
I nominated my teacher for this $500 classroom scholarship from our city's big firm, and she won it. To return the favor, she let me pick out a book from those Scholastic book selections you get when your in elementary/ middle School (I was in the 7th grade at the time). I really wanted Twilight, but since it was so expensive and a hardcover, I was going to just get this Stephen King paperback instead. When I told her what I wanted, she INSISTED I get a hardcover, so I just got Twilight instead....
And so my semi-obsession began... lol!

Well, I'm a really HUGE bookworm study

and Harry Potter fan.... After Deathly Hallows I had like a week of depression because it was over, so I went around asking all my friends if they had any book reccomendations that could even remotely compare to the phenomenon that is Harry Potter and they told me to read Twilight. But, when I asked them what it was about, and they said it was a romance I didn't really want to read it because I hated romance books. But, I finally started reading it after my cousin begged me to, and I, too heard them talkl about it on MuggleCast. Actually, reading Twilight showed me how romance can actually be good if it's well written. now i really like it Smile
