How did you find Twilight????

once at the library i checked out like 10 fat books (including Twilight) and didn't get around to reading it before I had to return it because someone had a hold thingy on it (surprise surprise) so then like a couple months later i saw the audio CD version and I was like, hey didn't I get this before and just never read it? and so I checked that out and couldn't stop listening! and when I was finished, I was DYING! I must have renewed it like 3 times and then I ripped the audio and put it on my iPod. I wasn't sure if there was a sequel or not and then I found it on iTunes and put that on my iPod. I like listening to stuff better, i guess. I was a wreck after reading (listening to ) New Moon and must have really scared my parents! and so I've been a die-hard fan since before Eclipse came out!

Well, I'm a weird person and I tend to resist reading popular books (ex.-I didn't want to read HP but everyone kept bugging me about it so I gave in after 3 books came out). Anyway, I talk to my librarian all the time (a little weird, I know- but she's known me since birth). She kept telling me, you have to read these books! Anyway, I didn't. One day I was at a book store and just randomly gave in and bought it. I read it that night, loved it and asked my friend who owned all of them if I could borrow the rest. Couldn't wait so I just scraped together Christmas $$ and bought the NM and E.

That's what I get for being stubborn.

My story on how i found the books is pretty weird..

So over the summer I went to the movies with one of my friends... In her car was Twilight. I picked it up and started reading the back, it didn't seem like my sort of thing but my friend said that it was really good. After that I completely forgot about it until six months later when i went to Barnes and Noble and saw it. I picked it up and started reading it, and I couldn't put it down!
I finally got the book and read it with four days. I got all the books and was as obsessed as I am about the first. The rest is history...

i read twilight in sixth grade when it first came out... my friend bekah had read it and kept like, stuffing the book under her shirt and asking to go to the bathroom so she could read... funny stuff like that, and i kept making fun of her bcause she was rather obsessed, and i was like "Um, hello honey it's abut a vampire!" i thought it was weird. about two weeks later i was spending the weekend with my grandma and we went to the bookstore, where it was reccomended to me by a lady. so i bought it and didn't put it down for like 10 hours. then i almost ate my arms off when i found out the second book hadn't come out yet, so i read twilight again! lol end of story. Very Happy

It was a while ago. I was on vacation in Santa Barbara over Spring Break in 8th grade and it was raining nonstop. So my friend and I went to the nearby borders because we were sooo bored and there was nothing to do. I decided to finally buy Twilight after seeing it at the bookstore everytime. (I thought for some reason it took place like in the 1700s and didn't want to read something like that.) So that day and the airplane ride home i couldn't put it down it was so good. i'm very grateful it was so rainy during our trip.(kinda like Forks) I didn't even know it was going to be a series until i saw that new moon was for pre-order on Amazon. That was exiting. Sadly none of my friends were interested in the books so I had no one to talk to about it, but i did join the Twilight Lexicon. Eventually my friends came around tho. lol Wink

I was at choir about two years ago and this girl was talking to a guy about it. She showed me the book, and I read the back. I thought it was interesting and I should go out and buy it. Well, I never got to it. A year later, spring of 07, we had a book fair at school and twilight was sitting on the shelf. My friend looked at it and seemed to like it. So did i. We decided to race to see who could finish it first. My friend was a pretty fast reader so I took it home to read. Well, what do you know? I got addicted to it! My friend was mad that i finished it in like three days. She gave me the book after she finished it, and told me to throw it away. I just converted her back to New Moon, so it's all good.

The girl sitting behind me in art was reading New Moon and GUSHING so loud. I was too nosy not to ask.

Then after getting my ear talked off with "OHMIGAWD EDWARRDDDD!!11" I decided I needed to read it. I'm a sucker for romance @____@ and vampires.

It was right after new moon came out so I bought them both and read them so fast it made my head spin...in a good way :] I was hooked, and I nearly peed my pants when Eclipse came out. I even forced my mom to drive me out to buy it the day of.

I read Twilight my freshman year of high school (the same year that Twilight was released). I think I saw an ad for it in some magazine, like Teen People or Seventeen or one of those... Anyway, the ad sparked my interest, so I got a copy from the library and read it in about two days. I was so upset when I finished. I agonized for days over whether Edward actually bit Bella or not. (I was hoping that he had, but alas...) After that I kind of forgot about the book altogether, until New Moon came out a year later. I've been hooked on the series ever since. Very Happy

I was one of the lucky few who got to read Twilight before it ever came out. I worked in an independent bookstore for 6 years. My favorite perk of the job had always been galleys, or advanced reading copies of books. If you work at a bookstore, the publishers are always throwing free stuff in your face in hopes that you'll recommend them when they come out. We were one of the first stops on Stephenie's first book tour so we were sent some advanced copies. The rest, as they say, is history. I'm now a 27 year old male who just can't get enough "teen vampire romance."

Hopefully I get a job at Barnes and Noble this summer... That has been my dream first job ever since I knew what Barnes and Nobles was... I just love going there... the atmosphere is amazing! I always read... You should see my room... 2 completely full bookshelves... whit just my books.
