How did you find Twilight????

I almost read New Moon before Twilight. (Horrible, I know!) luckily my librarian made me stop and wait for Twilight. SHE SAVED MY LIFE. I AM SO CRYING RIGHT NOW. Sad

Haha that just reminds me of how when I see people in the book store who are looking at the seond or third book in the series. I wan't to yell at them so bad, THAT'S NOT THE FIRST BOOK!! But how are they supposed to know? I think they should put in small text on the cover of the book, the second book in the Twilight series or something like that.

I found Twilight when my friend Despina reccomended it to me.....that's about it. I then read all three books in one day. Literally 12 to 12. Reading, and almost rereading.....it was intense

I found them when my best friend told me about them. I thought that it sounded really good, so I bought the first one. I read them during work. ( I got in trouble for that one) and I finished the series in a weekend. I plan on Taking Aug. 2 off at work, so that NOTHING will interupt me from Breaking Dawn.

how many other people saw it all around school, in your best friend's hands, and your enemy's hands, and thought to yourself, "Hmm. I wonder what the deal with these books is? I should go read it!"

and the rest is history.

plus my friend took every opportunity she got to display her love of the book online. (myspace, aim profile, etc.)

i was in gr 7 at the time and some of my friends in the gr 8 class who always talk books to were reading them. one day my french teachercomes in with twilight and asks us if we have ever read it everyone shakes there head no and i say "no but i want to what's it about?" so she tells me and i'm like i don't know i don't like all that romance stuff. so i'm was like out of things to read and i was thinking i probably won't like it but it will get me thourgh till july 21st (deathly hallows) it was june at the time. so 2 days latter i start the first book twilight and i couldn't put it dwn i was like reading duriing math class and my friend who sat behind me was laughing cause she saw what i was doing.
so now me and my french teacher always talk about it and i show her pics of themoive and she goes all fan girl on me lol! and i've made 7 of my friends read it so far and there are more waitingin line to read it. and like even a couple of boys want to read it! lol!

Well on a Harry Potter site I was on some people kept talking about Twilight and how awesome it was. Eventually I was bullied into buying it (okay not bullied...but they kept telling me to read it XD) and so one day at Walmart I saw it and asked my grandma (and with my luck it happened to be the week I got her in a good mood by doing her 'chores' for her) and she bought it. Lol it was funny on the way home cause I was sniffing the pages and said "There is nothing better than the smell of a new book." Which isnt really true cause I prefer the smell of other things lol.

When I got home I didn't read it at first cause I normally read an hour or so before bed. Anyways I go to read it then and next thing I know my dad's alarm clock to get up and go to work goes off. I was really into the book lol.

Bought New Moon the next day cause it was also at Walmart lol. I read it on my move back to California (this was maybe a day or two after reading the first book...saved it to read which was hard lol) and my dad kept asking 'Did he turn her into a vampire yet'. Then when Eclipse came out I forced my mom to go to Barnes & Nobles that day and it was right in front (literally it was right there as soon I walked in) and then went into the line...we got a bit stalled when my mom saw a little book of Puff the Magic Dragon *rolls eyes* lol. Also I totally got my mom into Twlight haha. And my friends that I moved back to also happened to be reading the series. I heard them talking about it the day I saw them again and I was like "wait to you mean Twlight as in the awesome vampire series with the kick-ass vampires?" and yeah...lol

my super senior friend had had it with him when he introduced it to me. he told me it was good, so i read the back of the book. It sounded good so i read the first page... i counldn't give it back to him til i read the whole thing Very Happy

So, picture it.. your typical Borders book store. There I was, minding my own business and I ended up wandering toward the Young Adult section, wondering if there was any new Sarah Dessen books I hadn't bought yet. After walking towards the bookshelves, my eyes wandered up and down the rows in a tedious fashion and there it sat. A hardcover book with an apple on the cover. Needless to say, it caught my attention. It was very typical for me, at the time, to judge a book by it's cover. Fantastic covers usually caught my eye, and this one did. This book was all alone on the book shelf, no others in sight. So, like most books - I opened up to the last page and read the very last sentence. It seemed worth my while, so I brought it home. After a day, I had finished the wonderful novel, but the problem was I had read the book before any sign of a sequel was even in discussion. So, I had to wait. I guess you could say I've been there since the beginning of time... of Twilight. Regardless, I fell in love with the story and it's characters, and all because I took a chance on an unknown book.

So, next time your in the bookstore and see this one book that catches your eye -- take a chance. It might just be really good.

lol, my story is actually really weird too,
my mom paid this one lady at her job to buy me new books so I could get out of my Harry Potter Obsession, and Twilight just happened to be in that pile of books...it didnt really take away the HP obsession, but it brought a new obsession into my life I love you

My story is actually kinda funny 2, if not freaky. But anyway, I'd just moved from overseas, again, and was trying to make friends. I hadn't heard of Twilight, living overseas and all cuz they came out right as I moved 2 times ago. But my friends were all reading Eclipse beacuse it had come out about 15 days before hand. Anways, they were telling me to read them and I don't know why, but for some reason, I just wouldn't read them! Shocked

I know. Crazy right? They kept saying they were awseom(and they were right of course), but for some reason I wouldn't believe them. Plus, I thought they were crazy from their obsession. Gasp! Iknow but anyways. It took them about 1 month and a half before I FINALLY agreed to read them if one of my friends would read Jane Eyre, which was my fave book before Twilight. And I actually liked them(well who couldn't???)! But because I started with such a negative attitude, my friends made fun of me fore liking them but whatever. I now have Twilight and that's all that matters, isn't it?

My friends were all saying how good the books were..and i was like what ev....but then my friend Savanah finnaly made me read twilight one day...and i couldnt put it down...and ive been hooked ever since!
