Whenever I see people reading Twilight for the first time I always get excited for them. I mean, my first time reading it was like...magic, but I don't know if people get the same joy out as I do. And I also freak out when I see guys reading it. I just want to give everybody a big hug when I see someone reading it. =]

I used to be a member of a Harry Potter writing forum, and they also had graphics challenges. One of the challenges was to make a graphic for your favourite book series, and one of the members did a graphic for New Moon.

I remember thinking that the graphic and her explanation looked interesting, so I headed to amazon, read the synopsis and decided to order it. Stupidly, I didn't order New Moon at the same time, so I had to wait a few days in between reading them for it to arrive in the post!

when i first heard of the books it was from a friend. We were talking on msn, her being in australia and she said 'By the wat, have you read the twighlight series? Its about really hot vampires.'. At this point I was thinking how on earth can you tell anything is hot by reading a book a book ....but....because i am obiously a great and trusting friend Razz

....I went out and bought them. Well the first one. I read it within two days...couldn't put it down....I thought Edward was gorgeous and found Bella really relatable, and of course I could even feel how stunning they were just by reading about them...I then ordered the next two books and had finished all of them within a week. I love them so much it's difficult to describe. Anyway I told my friends about them and i wouldn't stop thinking and talking about the books. My friends were soon annoyed and, even if just to keep me quiet, one soon agreed to borrow the first one off me. She read them all in three days or so after buying the next two almost immediately....I think now between me and her we have pursuaded over twenty people to read them, two of which were boys. We can't wait for the movie and think it's absolutely admirable that stephenie has managed to, let alone write so far three amazing books, but also start production of a movie that is so unbelievably full of gorgeous people i nearly die just looking at photos.

My friends were recomending it to me for a while, but i kinda iffy about it at first.
then my book club at school said they were going to read, so i had to, and i fell in love with it

Ok, so here's how I got into the Twilight books. Our teacher was teaching us how to write an interesting first paragraph to a story and she read a little of the beginning of Twilight.To me it sounded a bit interesting so I checked it out from the library and FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!!!!!! (especially Edward Cullen)

Well, the first time I saw it, a friend of mine had it with her at school, and she and her friend were talking about it, and I thought it sounded a little weird. A vampire who is good and falls in love with a human girl? It almost sounded like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Then a couple of months ago my best friend was telling me about this awesome book called "Twilight" and she said that I had to read them. I told her that I'd heard about it, but that I wasn't very interested. She kept saying that I had to give them a chance, so I promised to read them when I had time, because school has been crazy this year.

Finally, by spring break I had time to read, so I went to the store and got the first book.....and read it in two nights. I couldn't put it down! When I finished it, I went and got the second book, finished that in two days, then got the third book and finished that in three days (cause by then I was back in school).

When I finished I had to send an email to my friend and tell her that I had read the books and that I loved them. Her reply: I told you so!

I had entered the writing competition at school, and i won the prize, which happened to be a gift card for the local bookstore. So i went shopping, and i picked up a couple books, and then i was like oh i still have the gift card thing! So i look around and Twilight is just sitting on that shelf. I pick it up and "I'm like i might regret this. I hope its not a waste of money." I still cant believe i ever said that. I read half of it, in a day, but then my mom was like you need to go to bed-since we had school the next day. I was all like "Who cares about school? Their are vampires shining in the sun!" Ok so that just freaked my mom out and she was all like BED, NOW!! No soda for a week! Lol i finished the rest while i as at school, i read through break, and lunch, and my friends are all like whats wrong with you?? They all love me now (cuz their obsessed to). After i finished i was like i NEED NEW MOON. And my mom wouldn't take me to the bookstore. So i called my dad (who was in the USA on a business trip)and i was like YOU HAVE E TO BRING ME THIS BOOK NOW! I finished it in a 2 days, it took me a while since i cried so much....and then i forced my parents into a bookstore over the weekend so i could get eclipse... and that is my long, unneeded explanation for how i found the book....lol What a Face

ok so my friend jamie told my sister about it and then my grandma got it for her for christmas.. wen i heard wut it was about i was like gawd that sounds completely retarded ... o how wrong i was. so my sister was liek "JESUS CHRIST LAUREN YOU HAVE TO READ THESE" and i said "JESUS CHRIST BECKY CALM DOWN" so i finally read it and stayed up all night to finish it... i have been hooked ever since... EVERYTHING I DO RELATES TO TWILIGHT.. EVERYTHIGN I SEE RELATES TO TWILIGHT
I HAVE A PROBLEM... i think i need twilight therapy.. sumthing to show me that there is *sniff* this is hard for me to say *sniff* moretotheworldthantwilight *GASP* the pain is unbearable.. i must never sya that again
