Id love to know how everyone heard of Twilight! My story is insane!!! affraid

Okay so i was in Barns and Noble and i was like looking at then and some random lady walks up and was all like "have you read those books! They are so hot right now!" And i was like yeah whatever lady geek

and i walked away.
and then i look at them again (this must have been fate!!!) and ANOTHER random lady was like "omg have you read those books!!! They are really good!!" and so i picked up twilight and walked over to my mom and was like okay mom, two recommendations, we must buy this. and at first she was a little scared about the whole vampire idea...but now my mom loves them too!!!

I OWE THOSE TWO LADIES MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!! lol!

wow your story is a little crazy

my friends long ago said read this book but they didn't press it because the weren't *whispers* obssesed. but then when Robert Pattinson was casted as Edward Cullen i was like " I HAVE TO READ THESE BOOKS!" so the next time i was at Barnes and Noble i got it and read it in 3 days barely stopping. so i have to thank Robert Pattinson lol

I actually heard about Twilight through mugglecast. They got an angry email from some crazy twilight fan going on about how so many people were "switching to twilight" and "Harry potter is OVER!" (which is complete rubbish, because most Twilight fans are HP fans as well. There is no "switching") and I got curious about it. I looked for it in every bookshop in town, but they only ever had Eclipse and I wanted to read it in the right order.
Eventually, I randomly found Twilight and New Moon while visiting my grandmother and bought both of them there and then, figuring I could buy Eclipse when I got home. Read both of them in a day, then I went and bought Eclipse and read that in a day as well. That's really something when you consider it took me four days to read Deathly Hallows. Very Happy

The rest is history.

All of my friends started reading Twilight when it first came out. I didn't want to read it because everyone else was. Then one day my friend and I were in my high school library and I was bored, so while I was going past the shelves I saw Twilight and New Moon. I remembered how great everyone said these books were, so I picked up both and checked them out. I read the two in 4 days and bought Eclipse that weekend. Every since then, I've been a crazed Twilight fan. Very Happy

I actually heard about the series when Stephanie Meyer was interviewed on Good Morning America (I'm obsessed with that morning show) but didn't read them until winter break due to overload of studies. But every store I went to ie. Target, Sams, Walmart, Krogers..had the books and I was like what's up man? And then everyone kept comparing to HP which at that point I had to read them. Anyway been in love with them ever since.

I read it over winter break. Everybody was reading it at my school so I decided what the heck I'll read it. Bought Twilight in the airport took me five days. (little pathetic I know) Then I went to this discount book store that's hackin' ginormous, it's like a warehouse. I asked the lady who woked there where it was and she goes "I hope you weren't looking for New Moon. But I'll go look in the back to see if we have any." And as she was walking away she truns around and says "You're not dating a vampire. Are you?" I'm just like "Ummm... no." It's was funny but a little creepy cause she was one of those werid old ladies. They don't have it. I have to wait a WHOLE day to get New Moon from this little bookstore in a mall. Finished New Moon in 2 days. I figured I would get Eclipse in the bookstore at the airport coming home. They don't have it. I have to wait another WHOLE day to get Eclipse from Boarders.

I heard about it from my HP friends. I was resisting reading it since it involved vampires and I thought that was weird and not my type of story. I was in the bookstore getting a book for my friends birthday a few months ago and I walked past Twilight. The cover was pretty so I gave in and just reached out and bought it. Read it in a few hours, freaked out because it was too late and the bookstores were closed. Woke up early and picked up NM and E and read those two over the next two days. I swear the pages are laced with cocaine! So addicting!

i was going on vacation and i remembered my friends told me that twilight was about vampires
so i bought it not knowing that i would LOVE it. haha
and so i was reading the book on the way back to town and finished the book in about 5 hours.

I was reading This Lullaby-Sarah Dessen and my friend recommended Twilight. When I heard it was about vampires, I was like "Oh, no thanks.." because I wasn't interested in the fantasy things other than HP. So yeah, my friend let me borrow it and I had no high hopes, just whatever. And when I finished This Lullaby, I started to read Twilight and I couldn't put the book down! I remember the date I first read it tooo! November 9, 2007 XD. The next day, I bought New Moon and Eclipse. But it took like, a month to buy Twilight =( It was never there whenever I went to Target and I couldn't get around to go to a bookstore .. And I got a paperback. Argh, regret! It's getting all messed up now. L0L. XD

I love that site!! So fun. I was looking for a new series after my HP series withdrawl. I was a little iffy on it at first, but I decided to try it anyways.

Few months later, I was a die-hard Twilight series obsessed fan.

my friend was completely obsessed with them and on the bus one friday she let me borrow it. from other people i had heard that it was gossip girl with vampires...clearly not so, as i found out when i started reading it. i wonder where they got gossip girl from... oh well. and then i locked myself in my room and DIDN'T TALK TO ANYONE FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. and the weekend, bc i was rereading it. and then i went to barnes and noble and bought them all for myself. muahah. and now im completely in loveeeee. As mentioned on Phases, I found twilight through the fooligans who host this show. because they would NOT SHUT UP about it.

And I'm glad they didn't because it sort of pwns.

I read a lot of reviews for it and I was like 'uh I not a big vampire person'. However last November I was at a Barns and Noble with my sister at this Amercian Girl thing, and terribly board and was sitting next to the book. I bought it and I was hooked! I finsh it in less then a day. The next day I hopped on a train after to school and bought the next two. I am kind of addictive to it! lol!

Everyone on the HP board that I'm on was constantly talking about it, and then I saw it at Target one day and picked it up. Then I proceeded to start to read it at lunch the next Thursday while on lunch, and I was instantly hooked. I finished all three books by the following Saturday morning. So I think I finished them all in less than 3 days. Now I force everyone else I know to read them - even my mom.
