At my school there is this Twilight craze going on, and somehow my copy of Twilight keeps disappearing. Anyway, I keep asking my friends how they like it. I asked one girl what she thought of Edward, and she said, "I think he's weird. First, he tells Bella to stay away from him, but then he's following her like some kind of stalker. Is he a stalker???" I just want to know what everyone else thought when they started Twilight. I, personally, thought Edward wasn't the vampire, but it was Mike Newton because he was so friendly. lol

Because he freekin' WATCHED her sleep without her knowing... that's a little weird.
&& following her to Port Angeles .. WTH?
Haha .. but he had good reasons XD
I didn't know Edward was the vampire either, even tho the back cover explains it all.

I knew Edward was a Vampire because tit was basically explained on the back of the book, I also thought he was a tad stalker ish, I mean yeah he cared about her, but he hadn't exactly known her that long

Even though I knew Edwardo was a vamp (back cover) I wasn't really freaked out by the stalking, maybe because I'm crazy like Bella and thought it was romantic. I just got confused when he was explaining everything to Bella. I had to reread the Meadow scene like three times before I understood why he was running in circles and breaking trees.

I suppose he is kinda stalkerish. I can't get over the fact he was watching Bella sleep every night without her knowing. And then she wasn't freaked out by it at all! I'd be terrified!

Bella is a very strange girl.

I couldn't understand why he hated her at first then was talking to her the next. I was like "Dude you hated this girl a week ago and now you're talking to her and now possibly driving her to Seattle??!" I also thought Bella was secretly a vampire. I have no idea why. I think it was becuase she freaked at the blood in biology.

personally I thought he was stalkerish too. I mean when he went and got her in Port Angeles..sure he saved her life but if I was Bella, after I got into the car I would've been like..."wtf dude? are you following me?" and probably haha would not have felt any safer with him.

for some reason when I read Twilight "stalker" did not come to my mind at all. Maybe that's a bad sign but it seemed perfectly normal at the time scratch

At the time I was 100% cool with it...BUT once I met everyone in phases etc and we started to over analyze EVERYTHING is when it started to look a bit weird to me haha

i thought edward was huge stalker, but it didnt freak me out that much that he was out side ov her window, if it was me i prob die if i found out

I have to admit I fell in love with Edward at first. Even though he had some stalker like things, he was a walking god, talked like Mr. Darcy and was so sweet. When reading through Bella's piont of view it is biased. After, I read the first chapter of Midnight sun I was totally creeped out. I did think it was werid that he appeared to hate her than is frendly.
