I've noticed a lot of things that I've thought, said, or done that I wouldn't normally have done if I hadn't read and gotten addicted to the Twilight series. So, I thought it'd be fun to have a note for all your addiction worries! I'll start off with a few of my own...

-When you see someone at school with a shirt that says "Keep out of direct sunlight," you immediately think, "Vampires!" Then, because it's sunny, you do a double-take to see if the girl in question is sparkling. (She wasn't )

-You spend most of your free time imagining what all the characters look like, then imagine you actually knew them all, and somehow manage to create a whole fanfic in your head. Then, when you tell one of your good friends about it, she looks at you funny and asks "Where's the weed and why haven't you given me any yet?"

-While imagining said fanfic in your head, you accidentally blurt out, in the middle of Creative Writing, "OMG EDWARD STOP READING MY MIND!" and get uber weird looks from everyone in the classroom except for the one person going "HECK YEAH!"

-You have a bad habit of giggling out loud while reading in class, and your teacher comes over asking what's so funny, and alls you can say is "Bella moment."

-When in class you're asked to write a journal entry on how a female author of your choice creates or uses knowlege to write her story and how that affects the story and/or your view of the world, and you write two pages on how Stephenie Meyer's vampires and werewolves are different from the vampires and werewolves of common legend.

-When you start thinking really embarrassing thoughts, and immediately stop for fear that Edward may hear you. And you do this on a daily basis.

-When you're driving, and you see a guy who reminds you of Edward driving an old, blue Toyota, and you wonder why he's not driving his silver Volvo.

-When you're cut off by a silver SUV and think, "Stupid, shiny Volvo owner!" simply because it's the same color as Edward's Volvo.

-When you're watching TV, and you see someone so mad they're shaking, and you start yelling, "NO!!! CALM DOWN BEFORE YOU CHANGE INTO A WEREWOLF AND HURT SOMEONE!!!"

-When you drop your car keys, call for Edward to help you find them, and your brother rolls his eyes and mumbles something about how you've been reading too much...

-When you realize you haven't read ANY of the Twilight books in about a month and get really depressed over the fact.... Then immediately pick up Twilight and start reading so you can feel better. *sigh*

-When you start school and all the guys are all over you, when hardly any even showed any interest in you before. Then you realize, "Hey, this is just like when Bella moved to Forks! I'm having a Bella moment!"

-When you're more obsessed than your friend who got you hooked on the series in the first place...

-When you're eating chicken, you wonder if Edward likes to eat chicken...and then you remember that he doesn't EAT it! he drinks it's blood! DUH! and you get mad at yourself for that...and then think if he likes chicken blood...hmmm.... Then you remember he prefers large predators and get mad at yourself for not remembering.

-You finally get your mom hooked on the series (that's right, MY MOM!!! ), and she's almost done with Eclipse, so you ask her exactly where she is. She tells you that they just fought the newborns. Your dad goes, "Why are they fighting babies?" and you and your mom burst out laughing, trying to explain to him what newborns are between fits of giggles. When he still shakes his head and says, "But isn't that like taking candy from a baby? Fighting newborns?", of course that makes it funnier! Then you both get annoyed at him for not knowing what you meant.

-When Jacob (the prophet) is mentioned in church, you jump and immediately think of Jacob Black.

-When you go to a football game and your friend immediately attacks you with glitter hairspray. Instead of getting mad, you think, "Hey, now I look more like a vampire!" Then you think, "Now I can be a vampire for Halloween! All I need is more glitter hairspray..."

-When you're reading a book and come across the word "twilight". You get really excited, then realize that it had no reference to your favorite series whatsoever.

-When your brother gets annoyed with you because almost every conversation with you involves some reference to Twilight, New Moon, or Eclipse (or theories about Breaking Dawn).

-You're listening to the radio, and a A New Day Has Come by Celine Dion comes on, and in the chorus, it says, "I can't believe I've been touched by an angel with love", and you immediately think, "Edward! Awww!!"

-When asked to introduce yourself at a training meeting for work, and asked (a)your favorite car, (b)your favorite movie, and (c)your favorite food. For favorite car, you put Volvo S60R; for favorite movie, you think, "Why couldn't it have been favorite book?"; for favorite food, you don't really care (sorry, not a big fan of mushrooms, so the mushroom ravioli was definitely not an option!).

-When you get home from work at 9 PM, exhausted because you've been up since 5:30 AM and only had 2 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours, and opt to get online to check the fansites instead of getting some much-needed sleep. (Then you end up oversleeping and missing your classes the next morning, anyway...)

-You can recognize words used in Twilight on your Vocab list. You go "SQUEEE TWILIGHT WORD" when you find one.

-When you're memorizing a list of countries where your company is, and one of them is Italy. You start freaking out. Why? Italy -- Volterra -- Volturi!

-The sentence you're given to help memorize said countries is: You can memorize French and German if children stop acting silly. You immediately think, "Silly Bella!"

-You have to memorize a list of continents where your company is, but you get to make up your own sentence for memorization purposes, if you so choose. You come up with: "Now Sam and Emily are always away." This is, of course, a thought about after Sam and Emily's wedding.

-When you're reading Anne of the Island, and you read the part where Anne refuses Gilbert's first proposal. You get so upset that you put it down and start reading Twilight for a while, instead.

-When you don't mind so much anymore that your car is retarded and idles WAY TOO HIGH (which makes a lot of noise) because that makes you more Bella-ish.

-When your dad asks what your grandma wants you to do, and you tell him exactly what she said, then he asks, "Yeah, but does she want us to do this?" And you say, "I don't know," and add, in thought only (though it takes all your self-control not to say it out loud), "Who do you think I am, Edward Cullen?"

-When you meet a really cute guy named Mike who looks EXACTLY like an older version of Mike Newton and suddenly like Mike Newton a lot more than you used to....

- You do the What Gemstone are you? What Gemstone are you? quiz on Blogthings. You get Topaz (really!!! it was so cool) and immediately think it's an omen.

-You have started to learn not to read any of the Twilight books before you go to bed because you can never get to sleep(constantly thinking about them).

-When you fall up the stairs (yes, it is possible!), almost falling through a window in the process, and think, "Wow, glad that wasn't a total Bella moment..."

-When you're listening to the radio, and the DJ's giving the news and talking about how a bunch of people have been bitten by rabid bats, then laughs and says, "I'd be more worried it would turn me into a vampire!" All you can think (as you roll your eyes) is, "Like I haven't heard that one before!"

-When your hole from not reading the twilight books is getting worse and worse when you visit fansites, but you have to other wise you'll go crazy. (like bella needed her edward hallucinations to keep her a little more sane)

-When you think everything is based off the book and that is all you talk about for days

-When you see someone in your class and think his hair looks like what you pictured edward's to look like

-When you see gold and think of edward's eyes

-When you fall down and think "i'm clumsy just like bella ! "

-When you see the sunrise and think of Twilight (Breaking Dawn! )

- Bears fear you

- Seeing how fast your porsche can get to LA is your ideal afternoon activity.

-Your mind works on the Am freqeuncy while everyone else is FM.

-When at camp-out you have "Who can swollow the entire cow" contest

-You put greek gods and modles to shame

-Everytime you see a rain cloud, Forks Washington comes to mind.

-Baseball seems more boring than normal

-You take bets onn your siblings relationships

-Your favorite teacher asks you about the book you're reading (which WAS Twilight; I re-read it because I wolfed it down the first time and decided it was worth it to digest it slowly) and you go into a full-blown rant about every little detail, from start to finish. When you're done, you realize you've wasted the entire class time telling him how freaking awesome said book really is. (I got many "Thank you"s from that.)

-When you recomend Twilight to said boyfriend, and he opens the book to the middle and speed-reads for like, five minutes, then says it's got too much dialogue, and the only thing you can do is whack him upside the head and yell "Well @%&$ you, you have no taste!!!" while secretly thinking "Mmm... Edward... Yum..."

-You tell yourself you're only gonna read for thirty minutes... Just thirty minutes... Okay, maybe an hour, or until I get past this good part... Just an hour... Alright, two hours, it's not done yet... Just two hours... Fine, four hours... I can handle four hours... Oh, alright, five hours... ... ... CRAP, I FINISHED THE FREAKING BOOK!!! Now to tear my room apart for the next one... Just thirty minutes...

-When you get to the part where Edward and Bella are listening to Clair de Lune, and the only thing you can think is "Oh, it's such a pretty song... Now to search iTunes for it, so I can listen to it, too!"

-You've come to the realization that your high-school classmates officially deemed you crazy and purposely steer clear of you when you're walking in the halls with your book in your hands, in case you either A) run them over and not look up, B) scream some odd obscenity then mutter under your breath how unfair Billy is, C) giggle like a school-girl, blushing profusely, then run smack into either a wall or the probation officer. (I did apologize... ^_^')

-When you're watching a movie, and guy one is engaged to a girl who guy two is in love with. The girl is in love with guy two. Guy one finally goes to guy two and tells him he's told the girl to follow her own heart and let her out of the engagement. You're thinking, "Total Edward and Jake, right there!"

-You're at the store with your mom (who has also read the whole series, btw), and you see a car air freshener that's in the shape of a crystal heart. You run to your mom, carrying said air freshener, squealing, "MOM!!! IT'S JUST LIKE THE ONE EDWARD GAVE TO BELLA!!!!" She takes it, looks at it, smiles and says, "Except that one was smaller and on a charm bracelet." You grin and say, "But it looks the same!" Thus, you convince your mom to buy it for you for Christmas, and you know that it'll stay in your car forever (once you really get it for Christmas, that is), so you can feel just like Bella!

-When any of these I've posted (or any anyone else, including you, posts) replys to you and/or has actually happened to you!

Sorry this is long, but I had to make sure I got all my own obsessive moments in! If you read all that you crazy!

I join a podcast even though I'm 16 hours ahead of everyone else.
I say your Bella Crazzzy in front of my friends, for weird reactions

- When you threw New Moon across you Grandmother's living room almost breaking her blue glass collection in the process at teh part where Edward leaves her.

- When you finished New Moon and really needed Eclipse you actually insult your second favorite author. Ex:
In the airport book store I am searching and searching for Eclipse and stumble upon the Uglies series boxed set by Scott Westerfeld. I leave the store empty handed because THEY DIDN'T HAVE ECLIPSE!! I was outraged. I thought "How can they have the Uglies boxed set and not any of the Twilight series. Stephenie Meyer is a better selling author than Scott Westerfeld!"

- When you are always thinking about weather or not vampires have a soul or what happens to them when they die.

- Every book you read after Twilight just can't measure up to the greatness of Twilight. (Except Ender's game. Just finished that a few minutes ago and it was good)

- Every vampire story you read after Twilight is absoulotly horrible Ex: Blue Bloods, I'm terribly sorry to anyone who liked it, but Blue Bloods was complete and utter trash and disgraceful writing. But what do you expect from an author who's only written stuff for Seventeen, Cosmo, and Marie Claire. Okay I'll stop being mean now.

- You've had dreams about Twilight.

- You've looked at and are still looking at all the Twilight fan art just to see what other think the characters look like.

- In New Moon when Bella descibes that there's a hole in her chest, it was like you could feel a hole in your chest too. (Seriously one of the weridest experencies ever)

- You spend waaayyy to much time on this forum.

When you had a dream that you went to school in your pajamas, Edward Cullen was in said dream and said he liked your pajamas, and they become your new favorite pair of pajamas that you wear every other night.

When you asked you friends to get you a charm bracelet with a crystal heart on it for your birthday.

When you catagorize your friends' relationships as Bella-Edward, Bella-Jacob, Sam-Emily, Sam-Leah, and Bella-Mike Newton. Secretly, of course.

When you're on Twilight forums instead of working on your English term paper.

don't worry, I should be studying for my Algebra Exam, but I'm on the forum..
Here are mine
-You and your friend (who has also read the series, thanks to you) spend your whole Directed Study (study hall) class writing random quotes from the books all over her agenda, so she has no room to write her homework on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
-You and said friend also covered the back pages of said agenda with stick figure doodles of all the characters.
-You were infuriated when the bell rang and you couldn't finish your doodles in said agenda with said friend.
I'll think of more later but I'm not very creative today...

:: you take your temperature and find that you have a fever, and immediately think "C0ULD I BE BEC0MING A WEREWOLF?!"

:: you have Twilight as your wallpaper (computer & cellphone, for me XD ) and even your buddy icon.

:: you constantly quote random parts of the book.

:: You've read the books multiple times, you lost count.

:: you've read the books Bella mentions (Pride & Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, etc.) , but the only reason is because it refers to Twilight.

:: you start comparing EVERYTHING to the series XD.

AND

:: you've attempted to make an Edward Mii on the Wii with your friends, then realized it's impossible because you keep arguing with facial parts to use (totally happened just a few days ago XD )

I think you are addicted when you:

make everyone in your school read the book (i did that)

make your whole entire family read the book (cousins included)

Think about it every single moment of the day

Read each signed copy of Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse at least 35 times each

Think you are Alice, Bella, Edward, Jasper, Esme, Rosalie, Carlisle, or Emmett

I AM ADDICTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

- since reading the book have atleast 1 or 2 dreams..fanfiction or about the actual stories..a week

- think about it constantly and trying to think of crackpot theories

- try to get all my friends to read it (guys included)

- wish all the time that I was Alice (but am totally in love with Edward still)

- look at people in class and honestly think if they look more like vampires or werewolves ; lookwise I would probably look like a werewolf because I'm not very pale but would much rather be a vamp
